About Us
Troop 245 is a Boy Scout Troop sponsored by Calvary Chapel of Oxnard. We have about 20 young men in our troop. If you have a boy between the ages of 11 and 18 then we’d love to have you, but if you have a younger boy (First grade/6 years old through 11 years old), then you should check out Pack 3245. You’ll find us at “The Shack” (link to a map below) on Thursday nights (check our calendar for exceptions) from 7:00pm-8:30pm.
Our goal is to bring an authentically Christ-centered Scout troop to Oxnard by teaching not only from the Scout handbook, but also from God’s word and the experience of our leaders. If this is what you’re looking for in a troop, then please stop by! We’d love to talk with you and get both you and your boy involved. And if you have some questions you want answered beforehand, feel free to ask!
